Objective of our Kshitij Course

This course is designed to help students achieve the highest levels of excellence and grades in their Class X Board Exams. The subjects covered by us will be – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Our curriculum focuses on Class X School Board syllabus.

We explore and establish concepts in the given topics which may not be touched by the school books but serve as strong foundation for the student’s upcoming academic life.

Kshitij Course

Primary focus of Kshitij is to help students develop deep concepts in the School chapters and
hence achieve maximum marks in Board exams. CBSE & ICSE Boards students will be in separate batches.
Kshitij is divided in three phases:

Phase I - Basic concepts and problem solving techniques

Concepts are taught in detail and related Concept and Chapter Tests are conducted. The sequence of chapters taught may not match a student’s school sequence. Phase 1 ends in October with all Chapters thoroughly covered.

Phase II - Identifying the weaknesses in conceptual understanding

All Chapters are recapped and Chapters Tests of each chapter is conducted again. This Phase aims to identify and eradicate any gaps in student’s understanding of all School Board related concepts; as school as well as NV would have taught the concepts.

Phase III - Full Length Tests and Analysis

Several Full portions tests in Board Pattern are provided for students to master approach and time management of the actual Board test papers.

Objective of Class X ‘Foundation’ Course

This course targets the fundamentals required in XIth and XIIth for taking up Entrance Exams in future. Concepts covered in this course is not chapter specific, but can be applied throughout Class XI & XII. The topics covered are:

  • Trigonometry (Advanced)
  • Calculus and its Application
  • Mole Concept
  • Basic Mechanisms in Organic Chemistry
  • Vectors
  • Statics and Dynamics of Particle

We have observed students having knowledge of the above concepts become comfortable in a wide range of chapters in Class XI & XII.

Primary aim of this course is to initiate students towards Competitive Exam preparations. The course lays solid foundation in concepts which become integral part of syllabus of higher standards.

A separate foundation batch (in the month of August), will be formed only for those who are doing well in the Kshitij Chapter tests.

This batch is independent of which Board the student is from. After Kshitij Phase 1 of course completion, Students who were not part of the Foundation Course earlier will also be offered an abridged Foundation Course covering the key concepts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the timings for Kshitij course?

Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) Classes will be physically conducted at Lawrence School, HSR Layout on Fridays (05:00 pm – 07:30 pm), Saturdays (04:00 pm – 07:30 pm), and Sundays (09:00 am – 11:30 am).

What is the timing for Biology Classes?

Biology Classes will be conducted on a weekday evening (05:00 pm – 07:00 pm) for students who opt for it. Considering the traffic situation in Bangalore, we conduct Biology classes in hybrid mode. Students may choose to attend in OFFLINE mode at Lawrence School, HSR, or ONLINE mode from home if permitted by the class teacher.

What are the timings for Foundation Classes?

The Foundation classes will be conducted in addition to the regular Kshitij class hours (approximately 4 hours weekly: 1.5 hours offline on Sunday after Kshitij & 2.5 hours online on a weekday).

Can I enroll directly for Foundation & Biology Classes without Kshitij Course?

You cannot enroll directly for Foundation & Biology Classes without the Kshitij course, as these are addon courses.
